1515 W. Monroe – Method Construction project: Genesis was the finish carpentry contractor for this 95 unit property in the heart of Downtown Chicago. Scope of work included cabinet installation, doors, trim and bath accessories for each unit.
Elk Grove Park District Pavilion Renovation project: Genesis performed demolition, drywall, carpentry and finishes for the interior renovation of the park district pavilion. Genesis was sub-contractor with d’Escoto Builders. Completed January, 2016
Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) Section 3 Office: Genesis was the construction manager for this project in collaboration with Karry L. Young Development. Genesis was responsible for overseeing the total rehabilitation of a commercial space for the administrative offices of the Section 3 program with CHA. Completed March, 2017
Alfred Rubin Community Center: Genesis performed demolition, drywall, carpentry and finishes for the interior renovation of a community center. Genesis was the subcontractor with Descoto Builders; completed September, 2016.
Chicago Transportation Agency , Credit Union Office 101st and Western, Chicago, IL: Genesis was the General contractor to convert this former landscaping store to the future home of the south branch of the CTA Credit union. We demolished the interior space and the rear addition to perform a complete build out of new mechanicals, framing, doors, leveling and installation of new flooring, acoustical ceiling system, drywall and custom painting. On the exterior, we provided a new window wall system, new masonry, concrete walks and driveway approach, roof and a new asphalt parking lot.
